i'm gonna go with a Dex based melee Fighter using L.J.'s deluxe melee guide, however he breaksdown the stat points and gear but does not mention what ability or abilities to spec for your character? any suggestions?

im planning to buy some FG to get some starter gear, im sure this game is quite difficult without sufficient gear.

I would highly recommend strength, with using axes, swords, or clubs. Backstab and powerstrike are good for solo.

^ you specifically recommend str for axes? may I ask why? ^_^ axes are 50/50

do i wanna finish catacombs for the reward or remap? i was in a group and they kept "remapping" is thta cuz they didnt want me to loot the end reward? or is there theory to their madness

Don't worry about this.

That was BWConformity and I aiming to complete certain objectives as part of some hare-brained schemes!

If you open your stats screen you can see the currently active objectives by hovering over the objectives list, you can have up to 3 objectives active. We "re-mapped" to update the objectives list and activate the next objective. (We had 3, completed 1 so we were down to 2. We opened a new map to get back up to 3)


Re-mapping to activate new objectives or finishing the map to get the rewards are both good idea so don't worry to much about it!
As a new player you probably don't even have to worry about objectives.

GL, the LS grind is real! :)

Those guides are very outdated and wrong in the most parts. The stats that you should use only depend on the weapons that you use. You find the weapon ratios in the LS portal.
Clubs and swords all str
Staves and daggers all dex
Axes str or dex or both.. Just as much as you can get


Btw warfox says str for axes swords and clubs.. If you dont have a full axe set yet but use these 3 weapon types mixed.. You should ofc go with str. So thats right.
