To summarize, back then it was revealed that Hillary Clinton used a private email server to discuss classified information, but since she had done so unwittingly, the FBI determined they were not going to formally charge her. Michael Flynn clearly disagreed with this decision, claiming had he done the same thing, he would go to prison, and that Hillary Clinton should be put in prison.

Well.. as it turned out, Flynn ended up discussing information with a foreign country that he was not cleared to discuss. This was first revealed by a whistle blower, but Flynn denied these allegations until it was proven that his claims were untruthful. Flynn then has to step down, and admit to wrongdoing, and admit to giving misinformation to the US government about the incident, but defending himself by saying he did so unwittingly...

This is just flat out embarrassing
