He was a corrupt asshole that didn't give a crap about Korea. All he wanted was to turn the DPRK into his playground and benefit from his position.

He had both a drinking and a gambling problem, two things the DPRK is very strict about (especially when it comes to those who are supposed to be role models for the people). The Supreme Leader Kim Jong-Un pardoned some of his crimes when he was elected President, and also gave him monthly funds so he wouldn't end up in the streets while in exile, so long as he stayed out of trouble and didn't damage the country's image. However a year later he was caught drunk begging for cash in a casino, which resulted in President Kim Jong-Un cutting all ties with him. Ever since then this idiot has been talking shit about the DPRK. It wouldn't surprise me if he had been killed by korean intelligence agents ay this point, but he had so many enemies due to his ever growing debts that it is impossible to tell.

Much more likely that one day we will see a coalition between the US, Russia, and North Korea. The new Axis powers.
