Easily top 5. It's from 2007 so I'm obviously way behind but did anyone else absolutely love this series?

I wanted to quit the show a couple times. I felt like I accepted the rules of the show and they would suddenly change which irked me. It was basically like 3 shows in 1. However it redeemed itself ten fold.

i also enjoyed it a lot.

Power creep got absurd towards the end, was entertaining tho.

gurren lagann is probably in my top 3. it goes to extreme heights in a few episodes. comedy. feels . great art. action even though ive always hated mechs this is one for me that is great.
I was so familiar with the art that when kill la kill came out i was like why does this look so gurren-ish, OFC SAME PPL olloloolollo
