no bots .... K go play West hardcore Classic ladder .... play even in pub mode you might find 1 other dude playing after 6 hours ... and you both might make it to lvl 40.

games boring with no bots because with no bots = no people.

95% of Hell games are botted chaos/Baal, 30% of normal is botted chant, 3 of the 4 games on Nightmare are botted Baal. Blizzard and community need to just accept that D2 = botting.

Maybe they could put a text limitation in-game like they have in channels to alleviate bot spam a little. But... This game came out 17 fucking years ago. People born the year this game came out are nearly legal adults.

I'm truly confused how they don't just outright ban all keys attached to IPs that have 4+ keys associated to it. Tell me one fucking person who has 4 devices with legit CD keys on each one. No one. If that 1 person with 4 devices, or those 4 roommates who play D2 together get banned, have them verify their devices.


Or.... Just let it go and keep on keeping and be grateful that (former developers of Blizzard) made a truly amazeball game that withstood the test of time.

We are looking into a long term solution to prevent bots while at the same time not effecting actual players.

give mandatory minimum 48 hour suspension to any account or cdkey that is logged in for more than 6 hours in a 24 hour period.
either they're a bot or they need to get off diablo. either way it serves its purpose.

of course, since bots aren't the problem I don't know why they're trying this
