I was arguing that it wasn't as toxic on consoles, unless you missed that point.

na i did and i agree it isn't, but my point was, that you can't let toxic communities stop you from playing a game, they are unavoidable.

I played a lot of WC3 and I never had a problem with anyone on there unless I was playing DOTA and it was still only occasionally.

i played DOTA/NvB/3rd SW CONSTANTLY (all moba variants) and kids would get PISSED when you shit on them, oh god and ganking, a common accepted moba technique, oh boy that got them TILTED. i got flamed daily by kids just for
doing what i usually do and winning. lol maybe that's why i felt like it was toxic. constantly had people on the other team all chatting me

I only played a little DOTA and the number of bitchy people was part of the reason I disliked it. It was pretty bad, but LoL still seems much worse to me.

Having played both they are both pretty close. Since dota just like league has their elitest with the ELO meaning everything. That being said just about every game with a ranked style of play has a high level of toxcity. I haven't seen a game with a low/ no amount during ranked.

yeah it comes down to human nature, people get tilted, it doesn't really mean they are shitty people, they might actually be super cool. everybody gets on tilt sometimes. can't really be avoided.
