ARK:Survival Evolved, is a Survival game of epic proportions.
It can be played on PC, Xbox, or PS3, and has hundreds of servers with thousands of active players.
Its a free to play (one time purchase) and has hundreds of hours of fun in it.

I think this game is a good fit for JSP due to the nature of its game play.
One can acquire goods and materials in game and trade them to another JSP user for FG.
This could be extremely beneficial to ARK players, especially new ones, and could also increase activity on JSP.

A little word of mouth in game, could draw people from ARK to JSP (new users) which is always a good thing for a forum.

This game is extremely fun, and extremely hard, and is in Early Access, due for full launch this summer, I'm told.

It is also on sale on Steam right now for 10$.

Are you talking about the ARK being an active game? or active forum?

Because its not going anywhere, its the third most popular game on steam.

Unfortunately due to the nature of ARK, trading in game would not work.

Example: Alpha tribe sells materials via FG to said noob. Noob pays FG then builds house or stores the materials away. Noob logs off and Alpha tribe raids the noob and takes all said materials back. Alpha tribe gets FG and materials back with little effort.

Would be impossible to enforce BM behavior.

If there were in game cosmetics for trade that can't be stolen then sure.

Just my two cents.

This pretty much. Only thing the forum would be good for is finding players to play with. But one thread on other games dedicated to it would do just fine.

so. just beacuse one single person plays on a server where perhaps Griefing is discouraged, that means that the other 99.856% of the players couldnt possibly going to have that problem?

if you want people to sell you stuff, post it in the *other games section* I entirely agree with Naf that this game 100% doesnt work as a regular trading mechanism.

Same as Minecraft. No one trades in the forum, its just full of guides and *looking for server*. Not a single block has been traded. for years.
