Actually you can calculate this, by calculating what people choose to purchase vs their increased risk of dying. Example: paying 5000 bucks more for safer car that increases survival by 1%. Find OG chance of survial, let's say .05%, increase that percentage by 1%, divide 5000 by that percentage, and you have their stated value of their life. (around 10mil in this bogus number example)
