summoning and them are pretty much the only one in the ' summoning genre ', we could've have said in the past caladan brood had plagiarized summoning but it would be dumb since their album reeks of creativity and it's very properly produced.

Yea, on this version, it's just a female voice. Most likely a vst plugins female voice.

Midnight Odyssey is very close, on a Greatness level of melodies, slower paced metal, but very different. Not too many like them, Slechtvalk's album Falconry has somewhat of that slower Black Metal rhythm, again, quite a whole other thing from Summoning. Know any remotely comparative bands, in terms of quality of melodies, slower going Black Metal? There's like Elend, Elderwind and all those bands, but I don't like them that much, they don't match up too well, even compared to the other two bands I mentioned, Midnight Odyssey being brilliant.

noticed your top friend just made his avatar like mine, strange.

Why thank you, knowing you actually took the time to post about Summoning, O wow, one of my very top favorite bands since I was 16 almost ten years ago, you took the time to post it here... where almost nobody would recognize them, save a few Metaliers.

Get on Tracker and download Midnight Odyssey, it's like... Melodic Black Metal, basically about... Space.. and the Night, and the keyboards/synths are Magical.

Try it out right here, Solemnity in outerspace setting, like nothing you've listened to Before.
