I've tried to leave out any spoilers, but just in case read with caution.

I've played the game 100% through to completion. I've collected every item and have completed every quest. But after playing the game this is my opinion on it and I'm wondering if anyone else feels the same way. I think it was one of the more fun games I've played bc of the Combat system, monster arena, and open world but other than that I felt the story line was rushed, very shallow and overall just piss poor. When I think of final fantasy games I think of the movie like quality of the story lines, and it's what I get most ex cited about when playing. Not to mention, also, what an easy game! Shortly after finishing the story line i hit lvl 99 on noctis and all but completed the accesion grid(the useful nodes at any rate). I had no difficulty doing anything in this game except for the proteus dungeon or we it's called (platform dungeon you get the black hood in).

Every time I went to complete a chapter I would make sure I had done every quest and finished each part because it always said that if I continue I won't be able to return for a while and then a few cinematic sequences and bam right back to where I just was with no real change except some new quests are available. So many holes and terrible executed twists they tried to do in the story line. It was just bad. There were no real bosses except for ardyn (who was fucking easy as shit to kill) Everything else was just a juiced up version of a monster you already fought.

Please understand this is my opinion on the game and I am not here to start a flame/spam war. I'm just curious to see of anyone else thought the same thing as me.

They haven't made a good game in many years. I think most of that past team is now gone forever. I will only buy ports.

Last best game for me was 10. I haven't played 12 but I hear that was pretty good

It's different but it's good. More of a monster hunting game than a FF game but the systems and characters are interesting. Lightning was kinda taken from that game with the princess Ashe.

Nah. Not on the same world I don't think.

Was just reading the Ivalice timeline. FF12 takes places hundreds of years before FF Tactics.

12 is one of my favorites recommend playing it

ive got like 20 hours in so far and its not bad def not as good as 8 but i dont think ill ever enjoy anything as much as that one.

Word of advice. Complete the storyline as fast as possible.
