There are so many people posting here who are are all about guitars, drum sets, music production etc..
Now that's all fine and dandy, but allow me to bring something new to the table.
If you prefer more of a physical musical challenge like me, I recommend looking into this.

There is some background information on this activity here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58GbbG957hg

The official Drum Corps International website is here:
http://www.dci.org

Now for this year's promo video!

For those of you who know DCI, who do you think will take 2017?
Who are your top 5 favorite corps?

Pulling for BD of course, as they are always the best. :D

My top 5 favorite:

1. Blue Devils (Concord, California)
2. Carolina Crown (Fort Mill, South Carolina)
3. Bluecoats (Canton, Ohio)
4. Santa Clara Vanguard (Santa Clara, California)
5. The Cavaliers (Rosemont, Illinios)

If you are a past DCI member I am interested in chatting about your adventures, so drop me a pm or post here. :)

Top secret drum corp definitely. Because its the only one i know and they play on this awesome song:

I think that sort of drum group(dunno what they are called because no one does that in my country) sounds great mixed in full songs, but playing those alone or with some trumpets or what ever march stuff doesent hit me at all. It feels to me like 10 guys playing triangles where some might be a bit bigger than others and one might have different sized 3 triangles :D Im sure there are some deeper stuff about it im not aware of, as there is with anything that people do really. But it just seems too simple to me, or not the whole thing, but every individual there is doing pretty simple stuff(compared to guitar, full drum set or even a djembe).

Top Secret Drum Corps is a great group!

I haven't heard that song before, but I definitely found it to be interesting. ^_^ Everyone has their taste in music and how things sound to them.

Here is an example of one of my favorite DCI shows to date.
Plus, it's a song everyone knows! You can never truly experience DCI unless you go to a show and see it live. I think many would be blown away.

You definitely have a valid point, they do make it look extremely easy.
However, I can tell you from personal experience it is not something the average person can just pick up an do.

The physical and mental demands of this musical activity are incredibly high.
I can tell you personal experiences where I've had a mental breakdowns at rehearsal.

If you really want to get an idea of what it takes to march on a drumline, take a look at this video:

Edit:
Also, in terms of drumlines, it's not always about who can play the best or most notes, but who can play the cleanest.

Take Blue Devils for example.
They are an incredibly clean line.
The snare line is 9 dudes (and one chick) playing the EXACT same thing at the EXACT same time.
I can tell you from experience marching on a line of 7 that this is no easy task.

I was literally blown out of my chair watching BD in 2013
