That would be a show for teens, not kids. Avatar is Y-7 and plays on Nickelodeon..... it is by definition a show for children.

Yes, I know a lot of people like it, but almost everyone I know who likes it, are just like people who like DBZ, they watched it when they were kids. I'm sure it's got entertaining moments, but kids shows do not entertain me.

It's really your problem for robbing yourself of an amazing experience based on presumptions. I couldn't care less, I already saw it.
Go watch GR review of it, maybe it will change your mind.

I realllllllly fucking hope that's a joke. Not sure how you can think someone in 2nd grade vs someone in middle-school thinks the same and perceives the world the same way.

Like most children shows, it has incredibly high ratings. Same principle applies to children's movies as well, it doesn't make them anything special.

Just seems odd that an adult would be defending a children's show this adamantly.... I know A LOT of people online, and IRL that like this show, and they're all significantly younger than me and were able to enjoy it when it came out as 8-13 yr olds.

yes you percieve the world differently, but your perception at that age is still like 95% completely wrong
and the first time I watched Avatar was when I was around 18, didn't have much of an internet till then.

Obviously lol, teenagers don't know shit, they're just at the age where they think they do.

I will check out at least a couple episodes so I feel more comfortable speaking about it. I don't by any means think it's a bad show, I just think it's a show for children, and I can't possibly see how a show for children could compare with one of my favorite Animes.

it's still one of my favorite shows i rewatch it more than almost anything else, half because of how little effort it takes though, rewatching atm btw , finale is still up there imo
