What is this?

This is a playoff bracket between 32 of Sports Coliseum's sports-themed guilds. It includes every guild I could find that is structured around sports. If I missed yours, I apologize. Hopefully I'll remember to include your guild next time.


Which subforums does this bracket include?

Included: Guilds structured around an interest in Basketball, Football & Rugby, Baseball, World Football, Hockey, Motor Sports, and/or Golf

Not included: Guilds structured around Bar and Pub Games, any subforums without a guild, and any guilds that are not structured primarily around sports


How can I participate?

Following the SurveyMonkey links posted later in this thread, you may vote on head-to-head matchups between the 32 listed sports guilds. For each question in the poll, I ask very generally which of the two guilds in a given match-up is "better." There is no right or wrong answer to this question, and I purposely leave the parameters of this decision to you, the voter. Teams will be voted on until a champion is determined in the final round of the playoffs. You will have 48 hours to cast your vote after I post the link to the poll for each round. After 48 hours have passed, voting for that round will end, and a new 48 hour period for the next round will begin.

To make your determination, I suggest following the links below to each guild's homepage, briefly viewing their rosters, members, charters, and anything else you care to learn about them. (I put in parenthesis the main sports affiliations associated with each guild, though these are not meant to be absolute, as their members may have diverse interests)

Cheating will not be tolerated. If I catch you cheating, such as by voting multiple times or asking random people to vote, then I will disqualify you (your IP address and/or your device) from participating. If I catch you cheating in any other way, you will be disqualified. This is for fun/bragging rights. There is no reason to cheat. Let's keep it fair and square, and may the best guild win!
