First off, until tonight did not know there was a culinary forum on the site. Been working in kitchens since 15, am currently 22 and a cook at one of the better restaurants in Mankato, MN (Tav on the Ave)

Anyways, I do a lot of home cooking as well because I actually enjoy it, and it taste's much better. I have a lot of family recipes that were given to me on old fashioned note cards, is there good websites that anyone knows of that is good for storing recipes? Looking for something I can access online from a phone when I'm at the grocery store (generally when I decide what I'm going to eat for the next couple weeks)

Thanks, I"ll look into these. Also found an app called cheftap, seems pretty nice. Like I said, I wouldn't even mind hand writing everything, except I usually decide what I want after I'm already at the grocery store and I don't feel like carrying a giant stack of index cards there.

I created a private group on Facebook, because recipes often seem to float around there, and when I see something I like, I share it in my recipes group for easy retrieval.

This woman is a godsend.

i used some of her recipes. Her cinnamon rolls, sweet potato casserole, and banana bread are heavenly.
