Most people aren't going to pay for online services on multiple platforms, usually one ends up getting used more than others and that becomes the one they choose. So for everyone with a ps4/xbone, I really doubt they are going to pay for two services.

Then you have the HUGEEE PC community that doesn't fall for the stupid paid online bullshit so that community isn't going to get the switch (or at least not for online play).

the 70$ psn + membership is really worth it if u wait at some sales u get the discount for the sale n another for being a membership so my membership with all the discount i got along the years ive been repaid many times, and with all the free games each month thats even more

That's a monthly sub for an individual game, a mmo.

If you were to play ff14 on ps4, you'd still have to pay for internet, psn+ and the sub for ff14.

I am complaining about paying a sub for an online service (psn+, xboxlive, steam, origin, uplay, gog, etc.), not for an mmo. Most mmos are expected to have monthly subs for high server maintenance/regular updates.

The switch has headset support, but Reggie Filis has gone on record saying they are using the app for voice chat.

Also they gave the most B.S answer as how it is better to have voice chat separated on a second device.. I could use skype with friends on my phone already if that is what I wanted.

e/ I'm guessing one of the big reasons to separate voice chat/online features to your phone is that nitendo can save on battery life and merk your phone instead. I wouldn't be so upset if we at least had the option on which we communicate through. Need your phone out to use voice chat is beyond stupid.
