To climb is all about winning, but your true elo got nothing to do with divisions.
You could be in gold and have the same elo as someone in diamond.

the matchmaking will match you against people of your elo, or as close as possible to your elo, and as close as possible to your division.


If you were high diamond last season try this, demote to bronze, and see if the games get any easier, no they dont,.. or barely..
Matchaking looks at your elo, sees diamond elo, even if you are bronze, you will be matched against as close as possible to plyers your elo around the current division.


Thats why so many people that demote say that bronze is harder than diamond, its not harder its the same (to this diamond elo person), but in his mind it should be easier because hes diamond.
He will carry most games, but he will be playing with 4 retards and he has to carry every single game if he wants to win, in the end its as hard as if he was playing in diamond.

btw I was tearing it up individually in my promos. S in most games, as support.

As was mentioned earlier, the b1 was due to me being silver last season and the global downwards adjustment, which was heavier and stickier than I anticipated.

Placements used to mean a lot more.

I was Plat 5 last season, went 8-2 in my placements and had to start at Silver I... peaked at Plat I already this season.

Something doesnt add up.
You need to tell us the truth about that account, otherwise everyone including me, will just throw out irrelevant opinions based on false facts.

Questions:

1- did you level that account yourself since level 1?
2- did you play normally without feeding on purpose etc?
3- did you use the same ip as every other accounts before (SURPRISE: riot associates ips and registered emails to accounts affecting your elo)
4- What was your highest rank ever?

See if you bought that account from a random botter, its likely your elo is shit, and regardless of how many wins in placements, the highest you can be placed on is bronze 1.

Now if you tell me, "i was plat 1 last season, and Ive played on this account since level 1 without feeding on purpose, and was placed in bronze 1 after 10-0 placements" .. then I dont believe you.
