Using fat for fuel creates ketones, which are acidic. Ketones also beat the shit out of your kidneys, lowering the efficiency levels. When the kidneys aren’t filtering the ketones, they stay in the blood.. Than acidosis and you die.
Tl;dr.
Ketogenic diet is a bad idea long term
E: and with Gluconeogenesis, your body is literally using good fats and proteins as a poor energy source, dumb as fuck.
