Looked back 7+ pages and couldn't see a suggestion for this.
If there is already one, please by all means close this and I shall vote there.

Okay, so I have seen this feature on other forums and I suggest a "participated" icon of some kind to mark the topics you have already posted on.
There could be an option in settings to enable/disable if at all possible. It would help with some discussion topics that are years old with hundreds of posts/pages making it impossible to remember if you have posted in it it not. Yes, I know you could use google to find any posts you have made in it but I don't think this would be very difficult to do implement.

Yes - helpful, pretty standard those days and should be easy enough to implement. Even the different "envelope" color would be ok.
