I have also seen many people talk about the new legacy servers (me included) with excitement, especially since Blizzard refuses to make their own. In the recent discussions with Nostalrius getting a sit in with Blizzard's board and walking out alive and without a cease and desist because of the fan base, why are our forums still closed to talk about it? With Elysium's split from Nostalrius, the dream of removing the 'pirate server' label from legacy servers is closer to happening. I understand it is a side note written in the forum's sticky, but wasn't that written back before Cata and when people scammed with same-name servers? It's still World of Warcraft and still has a large fan base of people who enjoyed the 'good old days' of vanilla. Right now these private servers are out only way to enjoy that version of the game.

TL;DR: Can I get an explanation of why we can't discuss private servers?

Especially since over those 4 elysium servers there are 40-50k players constantly playing.

And alot of trading going on in the sub forums
