November 2004 up till middle of warlords. Wraith hands down my fav expansion.

I voted TBC but I started when they released the Wotlk pre-patch. Played until the end of cata and started again a pair of months ago
for now I would say Wotlk > legion > cata

Started in Vanilla, played up until Naxx launched, then quit for awhile.
Played in BC for ~3 months about the time BT was on farm and Sunwell opened. Quit for awhile.
Played through most of Wrath.
Played about 6 months of Cata.
Played a few months in MoP.
Kept sub open through all of WoD, just cos I could use gold to pay for it.
Did a few months in Legion. Hated it. Sub lapsed.
Will probably play again in next expansion.

Started playing in BC, didn't enjoy it at the time. Came back in WOTLK a month before toc was released, I miss wotlk and cata so much , quit in wod complete garbage expansion. And Legion is meh too, not really enjoying the ability prune so I sold my account.

i started in vanilla, played tbc and wotlk, but when i moved away from New York, i didn't continue playing cata, mop or wod. started playing Legion around halloween.

a couple of months before BC, got 60 right before it was released
