I played eve online for a bit. I found it rather boring and stopped after a week. I guess it is more fun if you have other players to play with though actively.

Not sure if it was mentioned but http://store.steampowered.com/app/291650/ Pillars of Eternity is supposed to be a pretty good game. The play style is that of the older baulders gate series although with better graphics.

I've been wanting to get Pillars for a long time. I've settled on playing the games I have that I haven't played yet, or haven't played enough of. All this is until Gaben decides to release a new operation which won't be until the new CS game. Rip my noob skins.
