I just rejoined tera with 4 of my friends, I need some gold for newbie quality of life! How much could 500 or so FG net me?

Also, I was curious how the new buddy up thing works. I'm a level 35, could I give 4 friends some sorta buddy code or something so we all get rewards?

Additionally, I took alchemy as my profession when I played but it seems that potions aren't a thing anymore.. is it useless now? I only have 2 recipes to craft runes now D:
