That's good. I can be an incredibly helpful person, I just have a hard time not speaking my mind and I can also be a complete and utter asshole (as I'm sure at least 50% of this sub would vouch for).

I'm sorry for your loss. You did send 1300 fg upfront to a completely unknown user. Join date/post count etc... mean something of course, but the list is what you should be going off. If someone is not active+, use a mediator. It's just better to be safe than sorry. Do that at least until you get a feel for which users are active and trustworthy. I have plenty of Welchers paid back, unknowns etc... that I'll bet with or even send upfront to without a moment of hesitation because I've been around her forever and so have they.

Until you can ascertain for yourself which users you trust, it's just smart to ALWAYS use a mediator, even if it's a small bet.

I know I sent this to you before, but the list was recently updated. Please check this list before making a bet and especially before sending anything upfront. I would not advise sending upfront to anyone who's not active+
