so, someone on my flist apparently got PK'd in HCXL by a pally while he was standing at the stash in act 1.. how the hell???? can someone explain that ? I haven't played in years and I'm legit so I am very curious about this....

he could not have been that close to the stash.

Maybe on the town with entrance facing north or east. Only place I see getting shot at close to stash.




theres a group of players that have it down to a science.


they use a barbarian that uses the flamebellow bug to be the dummy for mercs to shoot at. We shall call this Player 1

so then another player 2 hostiles the bugged barb which can not die. Then waits patiently for the suckers to go near edge.

They will often use free items as lure to get noobs near edge of town thinking they are safe.

When noobs go to get free Player 2 hostiles and teleports to spot where the act 1 bow merc shoots at barb. Arrow Pierces barb and continues into town. Usually exploding arrows too with massive enchant.

Unsuspecting noob thinks he gets free and is safe in town but ends up dead with no free no fun and questions how it happened.
