There are a good few breweries internationally (if Im not mistaken almost half of guinness sold is in Africa and they brew a lot there - an export stronger version being the most popular), but I'd say most of the stuff around Europe comes from the Irish breweries.
I've tried Guinness in 20 countries or so and none comes close. I've had it in a few places in England where its not bad, but the best in Ireland for sure.
you're not the first i've heard it from. i have friends that get a guiness wherever they go and all have said ireland is the best by far
