What jewel would give the best overall increase to a typical BVC grief of doom/beast of doom nigma set up??

40/15max?

I guess 40ed/9 STR or 30ed/9str/60ar would increase your damage the most

40-15 max would add less overall damage due to ed/max bug. those jewels can only go in weapons, so with a grief/doom setup steer clear.

I am saying what would be ideal for vs say a necro where AR is totally irrelevant, what jewel will do the most possible damage in either a g face or arreats ?

9 str = ~ 1 max damage... or is it ~ 1% ED? And it's not effected by the bug so that's why it's better?

1 str= 1%ed since you're probably using axes or swords

You could also consider using a 40ed/7fhr jewel if it would allow you to make other beneficial gear swaps that would outweigh the ed from str. Just something to think about.
