Okay I know outlinks can be highly beneficial if done right. Proper alt tags, linking to a highranking website, and linking to a site with related content.
Now I also know having a ton of links isn't necessarily harmful, look at wiki etc.
However can you have too many outbound for a new non-established website?
Basically I am making a website for a buddies clan on runescape. He wants a section for all the quests requirements in a table. He then wants a link to the direct quest guide at the 3 most popular guide sites.
It'll look like the table below, with the words "RuneHQ", "Tip.it", and "2007.Wiki" all being linked to their respective guide. Ofcourse all hyperlinks will be proper with an alt description and such.
There will be roughly 180 links within this one page alone.
Reason I ask is because I've heard of people being blacklisted for being basically a link farm. Outlinking to hundreds of sites. However I assume this is mainly detected because of the completely non-relevant info.
Example of what im talking about.
