no, check out Japan, as example.

btw MAYBE it's related to animals domestication & climate conditions...
- cold environment, easier storage of milk & derivated products.
- people staying together in organized groups, for survival reasons during winter.
- inbreeding... :rofl:

Milk is rich in nutiens and relatively cheap. The overproduction from 1930 caused a wave dairy propaganda from dairy product producers. Children were targeted as they were "easy to convice" turning them in life long dairy consumers. (a bit like mc Donalds does now and the reason why chocolate sigarettes were sold in the past).

The Netherlands is one of the highest consumers of dairy products and we also have one of the largest problems with oosteoporosis.

So yes. you have been lied to by corporations.. Problem ?

/e Ive met a docter in who loves milk, yet only buys lactose free milk to avoid cancer.
/e2 I still dont believe it is worse than Cola though, or other high sugar drinks we give to our kids.
