People are no longer on dial up internet so this requirement is very outdated especially since the quality of images has went a long way since this rule was made. Personally i feel that this rule is very outdated and im sure others would agree w/ me

If everyone has a larger image then it will just lag the site, 30kb isnt much but adding it all is

Never had any issue with the current signature size. Imo smoother site load > signature size.

I get on jsp on a toaster of a laptop and all pages load instantly...I temp pushed a sig up to 400 just to see what would happen and it instantly loaded...only huge sigs(talking 20 times limit)would lag. Even 120 wouldn't pose a notable difference in load time given the max number of posts per page

Nah, then we will have even more people that bring up super large images. Rather keep the rules same way it's been.
