Rpg style i liked :

Champion of norrath
Gauntlet serie
Dungeon siege
Diablo
Path of exile
Torchlight
The online part of those game is what makes me love them.

I'm not a fan of turn based rpg, so i would like to avoid them as much as possible, even if i liked somes, like final fantasy/golden sun/baldur's gate etc.

I like mmorpg as well, but i really despite big groups. I usually prefer playing solo, or with a friend. Being able to clear the game with 5 players or less is kinda a must.

Grim dawn is good if you want a ARPG to sink some hours into.

Elder scrolls online is a really good game I have been enjoying recently, had a rough launch but the game is pretty good now. Very good questing system, can get lost for hours. All voiced too.

Just buy to play, even the stuff in the ingame shop is mainly just cosmetic.

There is some DLC but it will be a while until you need to think about getting it.

Tbh if you like classic elder scroll questing, fully voice acted stories you can actually immerse yourself in, a different and fluent combat system, true class customisation (for instance can be a heavy armour dragonknight but use a bow or staff if you wish) and a huge world to explore I'd give it a go.

Plus the huge scale PvP is a selling point to most people, I am only level 49 and have not bothered trying it yet but from what I have heard the content is there.

The dungeons are quite difficult too.

can pick it up very cheap on G2A.com .

Check out some steam reviews on it, gives a good view on the game :)

E; scratch that. $10 on g2a instead of 40 on steam.

E; only $29 for the gold edition with all the DLC's
