why did this film air before the sequel to the last movie? was it filmed concurrently, so they needed a different set of actors? or something else?

probably concurrently, since ep 8 was suppose to release like 6month after this, but got delayed to a year. This film is ep 3.5, so it wouldn't make sense to use the actors from 7.

They're doing a main movie , then spin off , then back to main story alternation every year so there is always a star wars movie coming out yearly.

so ep 8 next, then han solo , ep 9 , then most likely yoda or boba fett

Subtitle warned spoilers so here goes.

That space battle was one of the best I've ever seen, if not theeee best. Then when you think it's all over, you're treated to a glorious Darth Vader scene with carnage straight out of a video game. I took issue with the pointless death of Forest Whitaker, and the catwalk out from the satellite with a terminal, but other than that this movie was amazing. The 3rd act was probably the best of any star wars movie, but i didn't feel for any of the characters except for the droid, which made the previous acts dull. 8/10

i wish more vader scene, instead of pwning rands, i wanted him to fight donnie yen or some shit at least.
