At this point I've abandoned all hope for any secret progressive streak in Trump. He tapped the Hardies/Carls Jr. CEO to be labor secretary. I wonder what studies he consumed to think that was a good choice. I've honestly never even seen any studies regarding the workers' satisfaction at Hardies, but the goal of the Deplorables is an unhappy working man. Talk about internalizing values that lead to your own subjugation. Sheesh. I mean, I credit the leaders, but the followers are dumb AF. Hillary Clinton would have assembled a cabinet of competent technocrats by now and they would work to make small quantitative improvements until more overall qualitative improvement was felt...how we have "bold" men who believe they have a mandate and nothing so far suggests anything good is going to happen in government. Lets hope he doesn't manage to tank the Obama economy...Bush managed to tank the Clinton economy with his loose spending giving tax cuts to everybody and not paying the bills. Halliburton did alright, yet many veterans are sleeping in the streets tonight because they're so fractured from self-medicating trauma that their problems seem insurmountable, because in many cases they are. Sometimes I look around and wonder if Cam is right about government. 2016 might just be the beginning.
This is shaping up to be an extremely conservative administration
he's obviously letting Pence run the show and now we are getting a Cruz type of Presidency
I think we are looking at a even more conservative 4 years than under Bush W with even more incompetence and scandal
The only people that are gonna get what they originally wanted are the far right never Trumpers
