to most of us diablo just isnt about it being a challenge or not. its unfortunate how easy d2 is i agree but that doesnt mean d3 is good because you can do some mode where its hard. you can go take any ass game and make a mode where it gets harder and harder and never stops. wow best game ever. d3 just fails at level design, quests, art style and graphics, movement of character and spells. these are just the basics where d3 is just terrible. then theres a million other things that sucks
d3 failed as a diablo game. good job on them adding some hack of an idea that is challenging to the game. diablo 3 rocks now
Ok, so how is D2 better? Diablo series is hack and slash style. D3 is exactly that. Level design is much better than it was in D2. Remember how bad Maggot lair was and how many times they had to change it? There is nothing wrong with the graphics at all, especially compared to it's predecessors. Art style for the majority is very well done. The worse designed character is Diablo himself. I have to admit he was very poorly done. Character movement has VASTLY been improved compared to the other Diablo series games. You're upset that you can't fire a fireball that insta kills things from 2 miles away? poor you. There are tons of great spells and skills that are also eye appealing. Please elaborate on the basics and the million other things that are wrong with D3.
D2 itself, without hacks and bots is more difficult to gear up. Which makes it even more grinding than D3(ROS, vanilla's loot system really was trash). Don't like rifts, GRs and bounties? You can play story mode until your fingers fall off. There are more than enough quests and side quests to follow.
You have to remember, it's a hack and slash game. Just because it didn't attain to your expectations from the success of D2 doesn't make it a bad game. Just because there are more people playing other games still doesn't make it a bad game. You have to remember, D3 is still fairly new. They are always making changes. How many patches and updates did D2 make before it became so massively popular?
I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you can see all the flaws in the game and don't like it. Why not get a team and make your own if you think it's that easy to make everyone happy? Become a millionaire! Or how about getting a degree and work for a company with a hack and slash style game, share your ideas with them! There are so many people going "game's shit" "game's dead" but not doing ANYTHING about it. They're just trolls that hate on everything in the world.
TLDR: Don't h8m8
