it doesn't help that there are 4 people with the responsibility to clean it up. and when all 4 junior moderators are off line (like now) its a free for all.

need a new system
periodically assess a random sample of reports
and give weight to users that responsibly use the report feature
once users have proven over time that they report appropriate things
allow reports from those users to delete or edit posts
first abuse of this privilege and ya lose it
