sure it does, within context. two previously unknown in a political sense nationalistic leaders who rose to power partially by criticizing both racial and religious groups and suggesting things would be better without them in the country.

in case anyone is wondering, i can also compare a normal apple to the world's largest apple. i kid, but for real the whole "you can't compare them" is just the sentiment of black/white thinkers who don't understand scale is a comparison not a disqualification of comparison.
