hi,

i am an old FF fan, i loved ff7-9-10, didnt like FF13 (cuz of the closed world, stupid story imo)
now i noticed the new FF15, and i read some promising reviews. Has anyone played it already? is it like ff 7 / 9 with some open world ?
does it have the open storyline with sidequests (a bit like the morrowind / elder scrolls games?)

and then a 2nd question. i have a 4K television, i only have a PS3 atm so i'd have to buy a ps4. is it worth to get a ps4pro for 4k content ? or doesnt the game support it?

As far as getting the 4k ps4 if you wanr to fully utilize that 4k tv you may as well. Not sure if ff15 aupports 4k if i remember right i read somewhere that most games for ps4/xbox1 wont be made for 4k for a year or 2 because most gamers wouldnt be able to play it until 4k tvs become more readily available. But i think after this years mark down for 4ks i wouldnt be surprised to see 4k games being made next year pretty common or atleast 4k mode and 1080/hd

the first few things that pop up tell you that

A. Its one of the best final fantasies in years
and
B. Its open world

SE seems to have taken some notes on what the gamers didn't like about 13 and made improvements for 15. I'm looking forward to it. I hope they have it in 4k though since I bought a 4k tv last week.

No need for the PS4 Pro, normal PS4 works just fine. Pro I feel is a waste as very few games have it atm. I'm sure the future will hold more, but when there's a decent amount of games, I'm sure the PS5 will come out.

As for Final Fantasy XV, it's so good. Currently have ~54hours logged into the game. Story mode goes by quick if you rush it, but there's a ton of side quests to do along the way and dungeons to go through.

Not going to ruin any part of the game, but it's awesome. But if you haven't done so, watch the movie before playing the game. As the movie "Kingsglave" ends right where the game begins.

The game is fun, I got my Platinum trophy 55 hours in a week or two ago... Havent played since. I love Final Fantasy, but I do not like Open World games, so the Combat, and Open World kind of kill the game for me. It was fun but I'm done until New content with trophies comes out.
