Yep, what I saw said he drove into a crowd. If I read it right, he parked on a crowd, went in to pull the fire alarm, and then tried running over people as they evacuated.

Anyway, he managed not to actually kill anyone, it's almost like there's a difference between using a gun and using less effective methods of killing people.

ETA: FUCK, looks like at least one dead. Awful. :(

The last terrorist (not claiming this event was politically motivated, story is still unfolding) rundown with a vehicle I remember was the event in Nice france last year in which 3 dozen or more people were killed, and many more injuries. This event killed and hurt more people then most of the mass shootings that have taken place in recent memory. It's the intent and willingness to act more than then method used imo.

I wonder if Trump will pull an Obamaesque move and politicize the incident. I'm not sure if he can pull off tears on camera.

no thanks, but you are welcome to move to the UK where this is the law of the land.

A team from West Middlesex University Hospital said violent crime is on the increase — and kitchen knives are used in as many as half of all stabbings.

They argued many assaults are committed impulsively, prompted by alcohol and drugs, and a kitchen knife often makes an all too available weapon.

The research is published in the British Medical Journal.

The researchers said there was no reason for long pointed knives to be publicly available at all.

They consulted 10 top chefs from around the UK, and found such knives have little practical value in the kitchen.

None of the chefs felt such knives were essential, since the point of a short blade was just as useful when a sharp end was needed.

Sporks only!

ive got 2 knives on/with me that wouldnt be kosher in the UK.
