4k content is still way too far away

Im not gonna replace all my blurays when that time comes anyway to gain a marginally better image

Ill probably wait for 8k or the next advancement as 1080 is leaguuuuues better than standard. Which the same cant be said about 1080 vs 2160. Simply doubling the pixels doesnt equate to as large of an advancement of SD to HD

Get double the hertz over double the pixels right now
