How do we actually reach people that think like this? Should we just accept that there is a section of the population that is not equipped to understand some things? It's so strange.

that was the exact question the founding father's pondered when building the framework. Are the people smart enough to help govern or should a select group do what's best for the ignorant masses. Just as valid of a question today.

And it's not even necessarily a "smart" issue. I think even more people just don't want to listen to or care what scientists have to say. Like... what do you even do about that? These people are voting.

i mean that's what i'm saying. the founding fathers were deciding if democracy would be best or a centralized authoritarian regime. The democracy offers more stability in the long run but stagnation doesn't help time sensitive issues like climate change.

Again last night I had that strange dream
where everything was exactly how it seemed
concerns about the world getting warmer
people thought that they were just being rewarded
for treating others as they'd like to be treated
for obeying stop signs and curing diseases
for mailing letters with the address of the sender
Now we can swim any day in November
