Guild Sith Melee Tournament
(US East Non-Ladder)

Testing my new ladder rules as a tournament. This will be a winner takes all tournament. I like to reward winners!
I understand these rules are different then UGML so if you have an clarification questions please do not hesitate to ask.
Once we have 8 participating members we will set a date for the tournament!

CHALLENGE SYSTEM

    1) To be added to the ladder post: d2jsp account name / diablo 2 account name / character name / character class.
    2) you are allowed to challenge up to 2 ranks above you until you get to #5 then you must duel everybody to get to rank one.
    3) You must PM the other party about the challenge prior to posting.
    4) Melee rules apply to all duels (see page one)
    5) Challenges will be best of 3 sets, first to 6; you must win each set by 2 duels.
    6) You may change gear one time during a set and one time between each set.
    7) Use of tokens during duel is forbidden; once before duel starts is permitted.
    8) If you issued the challenge you must wait 12 hours after completion of the challenge to issue another challenge.
    9) If you lose a challenge you must wait 48 Hours to re-challenge the same person.
    10) 3 day dodge rule (afk, no-reply, no-show is considered as a loss) 2 consecutive "dodges" will result in removal from the ladder.*


DUELING EQTIQUITE

    [ Starting ] - Both must have "go" over head at same time action begins; If one "go" drops first, wait for them to put it up again.
    [ Life Tap ] - In zeal vs. zeal duels both players must agree on life tap for it to be permitted.
    [ Enchant ] - Enchant is always permitted in conc vs. zeal, never in conc vs. fury or jab, and in conc vs. conc duels both players must agree to enchant for it to be permitted.
    [ Miss Click ] - Restart duel, no points awarded.
    [ Strength Glitched ] - Automatic disqualification if you die and can't pick up gear.
    [ Running ] - Point awarded to opponent
    [ Draws ] - If neither player survives a walk back to town, counts as a draw. No points are awarded to either player.
    [ Chilling Armor ] - Must not be on prior to a duel, referee to kill off surviving player with chilling armor.


RULES

    - Do not commit acts of bad manner.
    - Do not smite, charge, leap, whirlwind.
    - Do not use items that emit auras that cause elemental damage.
    - Do not cast any charges during duel.
    - Do not angle
    - Do not pre-buff.
    - Do not use potions.
    - Do not run.


BANNED EQUIPMENT

    [ Weapons ]
      - Grief, Doom, Eternity, Death, Cranebeak, Hellslayer. Messerschmidt's Reaver, Fleshripper, Nord's Tenderize, Baranar's Star, Horizon's Tornado, Stormlash, Schaefer's Hammer, Windhammer, Astreon's Iron Ward, Djinn Slayer, Lightsabre, Azurewrath, Frostwind, Flamebellow, any weapon with poison damage, and any item that casts amplify curses


    [ Armors ]
      - Stone, Prudence, Nosferatu's Coil, Arachnid Mesh, Cleglaw's Pincers, Blackhorn's Face, Giant Skull



    [ General ]
      - Any item that: casts slow or elemental skills over level 5; is ethereal without repair mod, zod rune, or zod bug; grants knockback; has poison damage; or slows target. Total maximum elemental damage may not exceed 200.


    [ Exceptions ]
      - Fortitude (Chilling Armor), Steel Carapace (Iron Maiden), Andariel's Visage (Poison Nova), Breath of the Dying (Poison Nova), Phoenix (Firestorm)


*If you cannot complete your challenge on time it is your responsibly to PM your challenger to inform them and then post in thread asking for an extension.
If you fail to do this dodge rule will be enforced.

Ok guys this is a rather unexpected turn of events... I am going to have to make 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes now...
    1st Place: 50%
    2nd Place: 30%
    3rd Place: 20%
