Looking to upgrade my speakers.

Also I was hoping for some input on a new amp
Currently running a lanzer 6000 watt 4 channel an a single 3000 watt quantum audio 12" sub. I have two but the lanzer can't push it.

Open to any suggestions

thats because 4 channel amps are not for subwoofers and those watt ratings you are talking about are absolutely useless.

rms ratings are the only ratings that matters. peak wattage is marketing nonsense.

can you get the model of the quantum subs for me as well as how many ohms it says?

only way i can find you a proper amp.

also do you live in canada?

Nope USA bud and I think there 2200 rms per sub I'll take a look at the sub when I get home for the serial number

good cause fees for shipping to canada are lame lol.

if its a q3000-12 then the rms they give says 1000 but even that seems made up given the price of the sub.

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_67933_Hifonics-Brutus-BRX1100.1D.html is a good reliable option.

i can't be 100% on any of this and just tell you what i would do. quantum audio is a budget brand that doesn't worry about being cea-2006 compliant and just make up numbers for their stuff.

i figure that amp should last long past when your current subwoofer dies and its a good enough quality amp to put a fairly nice subwoofer on.

what gauge wire you running to the current amp? you having light dim problems at all with the current low power amp?

http://www.knukonceptz.com/ where i get wire from.

big 3 upgrade is something you should do when you do a new run for the new amp. http://knowledge.sonicelectronix.com/car-audio-and-video/how-to-big-3-upgrade/

0 gauge is overkill unless you are planning something big and expensive down the line. 4 gauge of good quality wire is plenty for the power you are going to be using with this amp.

big 3 is very short wires so 0 gauge would be a fine choice because the price difference is negligible and you don't have to worry about it being too bulky to hide well.

That amp would that be for both subs or just the one?

you can run both@1 ohm.

tbh i don't even know how practical running both will be without further electrical upgrades cause 1100rms watts isn't a small amount for stock alternators.
