No. It's not -- now you can get to 170 easily and then the same old grind 170-250

Game is empty af-- they've merged so many servers because it's so empty to the point they're about to merge global and Europe Maplestory servers since there at so few players

It is a decently fun game to pass some time with. If you wanna get into it, I recommend doing the Reboot server - it's the least pay2win and you'll actually enjoy most of the minor grinding. If you wanna get into the upper content like high level bossing or whatnot, then you'll need to invest some time in meso farming. Otherwise, it's not that much of a bore and not so much of a grind. Although, after awhile, like most RPG games, it becomes a sort of daily chore. It's pretty fun up until then tho!

I remember farming pan lids in hhg and being level 35 and everyone being amazed at that. The game was truly great and I enjoyed playing with friends. Even when nx was added it was just exp and pets and cosmetics still fine. As soon as it went scissors and event tickets purchased through nx it started going down hill fast.

Yeah lol. My favorite was when you can get the best gear in the game either paying nx for a chance to get it or by already being filthy rich. Plus the rampant botting. I started much later, but back when scissors were only needed for a few things... now it's absolutely everything. Botting still rampant

The botting may be rampant but the gms are a lot more active. They chain ban accounts as well. There was a period where people could just bot anywhere 24/7 but it changed and then most places became unsafe and chain bans happening.
