You're telling me that Blizzard eliminated trading because of D2JSP? They eliminated it because people were suing due to fraud/hacking of items and selling/making real money. They also removed it because people were strictly playing the AH and not the actual game to get gear, as it was much more efficient to flip.

Blizzard doesn't give a shit about you, me, or d2jsp. They care about money. If they can't make it, they won't do it.

That's why Diablo 3 is shit. They made as much money as they could vs the resources spent. That's why you aren't getting any Diablo 3 news at Blizzcon and why the game is constantly failing.

Compare the content that Blizzard has put out since launch vs. PoE (I do not play PoE, before you rage about it). I do know, however, that PoE has put out a shit ton of FREE content for it's players. Diablo 3 1 Xpac - which you pay for, and 1 necromen - which you pay for.

You’re wrong thinking they only care about money, though it is a huge factor. If money was their sole priority they wouldn’t pay people to patch and uphold TOS on Diablo 2. How are namebotters that sell on this website losing Blizzard money?

They maintain Diablo 2 at a very low cost with employees they already have to keep the prospect of Diablo alive. This is a return on investment for them, a calculated cost. If they let Diablo 2 die, then diablo dies with it.

How will they effectively market Diablo 4 when the only thing they can use to promote the release is the stillborn game - Diablo 3?

Plus, they're most likely going to remaster Diablo 2 ( to make more $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ ) like they did StarCraft.

They like your money, they don't like you. They made Diablo 3 to pander to the masses and their WoW base. That's why we have butterfly queens, pretty colors in a "Gothic" style game, and simple systems that tell you how to play your character & the game.
