I'm ready for them to combine the weapons since 2/3 of them are just different attachments with new names.

Don't know why they didn't just go with attachment buying/unlocking like every other battlefield.

Probably because there was not that much then. To be fair, WW1 was fought mostly with bolt action rifles. The main automatic weapons were the machine guns you would find in a nest or something like that. WW1 warfare was the first of its kind, where before that was gentleman style infantry lines firing into each other, where longer accurate shots were valued over short range spray and pray. Also the cost of semi auto and auto weapons were far more expensive than bolt action.

Obviously they still added all these types of guns, because pure trench warfare with bolt action rifles running into machine gun nests and artillery fire would get boring quick. If they add too many things to this game though, you'll start to take away from the WW1 ambiance, and start heading towards WW2.








TL;DR - game is beautiful looking and the gameplay is great.

I know but it probably just adds to the clunkiness of the menus. It is in dire need of a streamlining.

I don't want them to add more guns. I came in expecting less guns would be available. It's just dumb the way they tried to fill space.
