I got a nice cut of lamb for cheap today, I asked my mum for some classic Icelandic recipes (we eat a lot of lamb over there) but I'm looking for some more inspiration from around the world :)

I like making kefta kabob when I have lamb, though that's more a ground lamb recipe.

+4 cloves garlic, minced
+1 teaspoon kosher salt
+1 pound ground lamb
+3 tablespoons grated onion
+3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
+1 tablespoon ground coriander
+1 teaspoon ground cumin
+1/2 tablespoon ground cinnamon
+1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
+1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
+1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
+1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Toss dem bitches on a skewer and grill up.

This is my all-purpose seasoning paste, works well with all meat:
- salt (pinch)
- pepper (pinch)
- garlic powder (large)
- onion powder (moderate)
- dried parsley (pinch)
- smoked paprika (pinch)
- chicken powder (can buy this MSG from Chinese stores)

You add olive oil to make a paste then rub it on your meat then grill.
Voila.

It's chicken stock powder (MSG).
Knorr brand is the most well known.
