im selling some ladder stuff now and i wanna know whether i made porfit on ladder playing or not ( since i payed much for my hdin eq )

and many ppl do not add a comment on the gold transfers so i often dont know where some fg is from and whether its from ladder items ( so i can add to profit ) or whether its from non ladder ( i cant add to profit on ladder )

so my suggestion is to add a feature that allowes you to add a comment yourself at received fg

maybe its completly useless for other ppl so lmk whether others could need it or whether i failed

btw would be helpfull if you could post why you voted [x] No if you do it ^^

and any other comments are welcome aswell

To add my personal reason of reposting this site suggestion:

People often don't fill out the gold send comment, or they only write something like t4t.
If you want to have an overview what you sold for how much, or to who, a feature, that allows to add a personal comment would be realy great.

If it's so important, ask the other use to fill it out,you are part of the trade and you can ask it.

Small trades (up to 100-500 FG) are done very fast often, it happens often in my experience, that people send the FG already after I just joined the game and verified my d2jsp name.
Sometimes I do ask the trade partner to write a comment, even in this case some people don't...

I'm not looking for a feature, that allows me to edit the original comment (could be abused), I want a second box for my comments.

I would be in favour of an option to add 'personal notes' as a side function to gold log. An ability to add a comment for your own sake, be it for categorizing, tracking or anything else. This note shouldnt be visible to your counter part then, imo.
This would be helpful if you forget to add a goldlog, if the other party sends without a goldlog, or if you want to correct or add anything as above.

Original editing im strongly against, mostly due to your reason (abuse) in post #4 but also some other factors.

Personal commenting yes, id very much like that myself.

I wouldn't leave it up to other traders to leave comments if asking like yakir said... some people are simply just dicks and others see something that small as inconvenient and simply won't do it.

I vote yes but make it like a one time edit.

However I do this seeing this be abused heavily if not implimented stragtegically

I think it's not a good idea to be able to edit the original comment, because one could edit "loan" to "donation" for example, that could be used for scamming.

What I want is a personal comment, that is seperated from the other comment.
