honestly without being there it's hard for me to say "must be something else" because wiring these and them jamming them back into the dash can easily cause a wire to come loose if you get a little careless.

foot and parking brake wire.

did you only ground the parking brake one? if so it's time to find the foot brake wire.

will double reward to 300fg if i can get an idea to fix. Tried everything listed.

Did you buy this new or used? How wellndid you ground the 2 wires? Sanded down? Good tight connection?
