My takeway from watching the trailer posted in this thread was as follows:
It has the Western setting for "guns and tits" that people like. It has the modern technology aspect where they can have other action/nudity scenes. The concept provides the writers a thinly veiled excuse to squeeze both those things into one series, potentially pulling in both audiences. Almost like an HBO version of Suckerpunch. It allows them to keep the overstimulaton at maximum.
The trailer didn't give any hints of good character relationships or plot depth. But the concept might still allow those things to be done in the show, so it has potential (despite their absence from the trailer)
