Damnit it seemed like just yesterday we locked up linval... ya it's gonna be tough, this defense is ready to win. It's been a longggg ass time since the Vikings hard a scary defense. I can't remember the last time we had a scary secondary. Maybe back when we had sharper and Winfield and when Cedric Griffen used to be good

The Vikings have never had a good secondary. The only time they have looked good in the last 20 years was when Pat and Kevin Williams and Jared Allen were on the line. Could have college freshman out there playing DB and they would still look like studs with that line.

They have had good players playing back there, but never a great secondary as a whole. This year's defense could be monstrous though.

Sounds like the complete opposite of GB. Couldn't construct a decent defense even with 30 selections in the draft.
