the game tried to generate an unique item and exceptional unique items don't exist in classic
so it rolled a rare item with triple durabitlity
in lod it would've generated the unique item "Swordguard" (exceptional unique executioner sword)

if the game generates an exceptional set item it will be magic quality with double durability

-> thats the reason why ppl go with 0 mf when they do fistkill andy/duriel/meph/dia kills
if you do it with mf most items will be failed sets and therefor magic quality
